Bristol, England: William Pine, Printer, 1765. Unusual tome. Original leather boards held together by somewhat worn green felt fabric which has been hand stiched on the felt edges. Slightly disbound. Edges: old browning and foxing; several pages protruding from fore-edge have wear, small tears, as well as, to a few top edge pages. Ffeps & rfep: handwritten notes of History of the Blameys of Cornwall (1832, etc). Frontis etching of John Wesley , M.A., Aetatis 63. Staining to most pages guttering and faintly to a few pages head margins. Just a few faint small smudges /foxing to a few pages margins. Couple of pages loose from binding. One page head margin with faded old script note. Binding is till quite good albeit loose 2, 613p Heavy book: 25 x 20 x 18 cm 4kg. First Edition. Hb. VG/None.
