About This Item
Tokyo: Yobisha, 1987. First edition. Paperback. Very good+ condition. ... I came across a 60s German photogravure photonovel in a London used booksellers. There, in full technicolour printing on cheap paper, expressionless caucasians coupled mechanically. I leafed through the book ... I found myself thinking, "If only I could do a Duchamp book like that ..." [Shinro Otake]. Two volumes, one in black and white by Tay Teo Chuan, the second in color by Shinro Otake, consisting of cartoons and collages in the scrapbook style he is known for. Some erotic images. In the original decorative slip case; spines slightly sunned.
With four sheets loosely inserted, advertising the current work (in English); small card in Japanese with cv's of the 2 authors; a 2 sided card advertising also London/Honcon; and a folding card printed on green paper, completely in Japanese. OCLC: 21331862.
