First edition, Bologna 1664, title with woodcut device, woodcut diagrams, initials, head- and tail-pieces, 4 folding engraved plates 2ff. errata at end, title with small paper overslip changing "Del Molto" to "Il Molto", occasional marginal water staining, small tear in pastedown with loss, occasional very neat repairs and restorations to extreme margins and corners (typically 5mm), later limp vellum, [Riccardi i, 271; Tomash & Williams C32], 4to, Bologna, Giovanni Battista Ferroni, 1664. Provenance: Grigorius Vivvarellus (early ink signature to title), and Erwin Tomash bookplate - (founder of the eponymous Library and bibliographer of Computer Science works)
