Noted filmmaker Todd Haynes' homage to Douglas Sirk, about a wealthy suburban housewife in the 1950s whose seemingly perfect life begins to unravel as she discovers her husband is a closeted gay man. Nominated for four Academy Awards.

Set in Hartford, Connecticut, and shot on location throughout New Jersey.
