O.C.L.C. lists a total of six copies in toto, complete, three being located in California, two in Massachusetts, and one in Rhode Island. This is copy #53 of only 75 copies, comprised of 30 prints struck on only one side, and 26 of those 30 are copies from the artists themselves. A matched, full, collated-as-complete set. Each is signed by the woman artist and then numbered. Barbara Parsons' Introduction says that "[m]any of the artists accepted the challenge of the broadside as an opportunity for dynamic experimentation with image and text; others illustrated more conventionally. Copyright ends at 1965, No Edition, No Printing Stated. Last page has 72-73-74-75 10 9. The American Edition is the Second Edition. This is a First American Edition with a 1972 (later) Printing. The dust jacket has some soiling with tears at edges of the spine and corners, see photos. Book itself is in Near Fine condition with the exception of a stain inside the cover which transferred to the FEP and bled onto two pages beneath. (Lowered the rating to Very Good). The black boards with blue lettering have bumped spine edges.

Cloth cover, as shown with this listing is gilt stamped on front board and spine and is slightly faded. Signed by the author on the half title page. Endpapers are tanned and aged with a pencil annotation on front free endpaper. Binding is firm, colored top, head and tail bands. Rough cut fore-edge, text appears unmarked. First edition of Agee's first book. Slim octavo. 59 pp. Green cloth, lettered in dark green at spine. The paper is very lightly age-browned at perimeters, and the cloth is sunned a bit at spine and along the top-edge of boards, else fine. In a near-fine green dust jacket which is sunned at spine and shows light wear along the top-edge, with a few closed tears.

"I love it, I love it and who shall dare / to chide me for loving that old arm chair? ………" . 1-page 4to, mounted to a leaf from a Victorian album. Undated.

London: Smith, Elder & Co, 1907. Octavo. In two volumes, 748pp., 786pp., portraits, handsomely bound in full brown morocco, raised bands, lettering gilt, morocco turn-in, all edges gilt. Small bump to last few leaves of volume one otherwise a fine bright set. From the library of a Wedgwood family member with gift inscription dated 1908. A very nice set.

(Plain Wrappers Press 29). Foot of spine bumped, else a fine copy with errata sheet inserted apologizing for the error on the colophon page. Five poems in English by Brendan Gill. Two of the poems, "Ferragosto" and "Norfolk," were written especially for this edition. "Easter" was previously published in Harper's magazine, and "In Wicklow" and "Voices" previously appeared in The New Yorker. Toned parchment substitute wove paper printed damp on a Washington handpress in black and light brown. Covers are glued boards covered with matching Ingres paper screenprinted in black and yellow with a leaf-and-berry pattern.
