About This Item

From the List of Zane Grey's Thrilling Novels at the back of the book: "Zane Grey has lived the rugged life he writes about in his books. The wild fierce blood of Indian chiefs flows in his veins. All his stories are splendidly American, thrilling, romantic, packed with action and color."

Good condition. Blue coated cloth over boards w Black text impressed into cover and spine. Some fading and soiling to spine. Some soiling on cover and closed book page edges. Much edge and corner wear - near top and near bottom is worst on spine, but serious wear is also at top of front cover. A few pages may have stains. Faded Red tint on top of pages. Text is clean. Binding is tight. A good reading copy.

Note: I have 3 other Zane Grey books published by Grosset & Dunlap also listed. If you purchase more than one, I will refund any excess postage automatically charged by Biblio. Media Mail postage for all 4 of these Zane Grey books purchased together would be about $6.00 depending on your location.

361 pages.

Reviews

On Apr 10 2020, a reader said:
This is the story of the freight system that carried goods from St. Louis to Santa Fe, NM in the mid 19th Century, and the perils and dangers they faced as they crossed Indian country to deliver their merchandise. An historical novel with real people who lived during the period who appear or are mentioned as the story line progresses. A fine read.
