About This Item

Privately printed by John Johnson at the University Press, Oxford, for E.H.L. Sexton, first edition, 1946. Quarter-cloth and boards, folio, 34 cm,. 10, 8 pp, facs. An interesting volume which was originally intended to be a "leaf-book" with an original leaf bound in. However at a late stage it was decided instead to provide a facsimile only (reflected in the paper title-label on the front board which makes reference to the facsimile, whereas the printed title-page does not.) Fine. Bookplate of J F Fuggles on front pastedown endpaper.
