Illustrated with wood engravings by Clifford Webb. Published in an edition of 500 copies, printed letterpress on handmade paper. An attractive work from one of the acclaimed fine presses in mid-20th century England. First edition. Minor shelfwear to the bottom of the boards and a bit of soiling to the white vellum paper used at the spine and outer board edges of the binding. With the bookplate of Walter A. Frankel on the front pastedown.
