London: Adam & Charles Black / A & C Black, 1909. First Edition First Printing . Hardcover. Fair/No Jacket. 4to - over 9¾ - 12" tall. Ella Du Cane. Small quarto. 150, (6) pages. Hardcover bound in white decorative cloth with cover designs embossed in gilt and in blind. The binding shows some rubbing and wear, and the spine is tanned. Cloth is foxed. Damping on endpapers and flyeaves as well as bottom of some pages. Endpapers tanned. Prior owner's name on front flyleaf. Front gutter is cracked. Collates complete with all of the beautiful color plates.

We specialize in North Carolina, Virginia, Civil War, Old Leather, Christianity, Eastern and Western Philosophies, and the simply unusual. We very likely have the oldest books in Greensboro; we keep a nice selection of antiquarian volumes and scholarly books.
