About This Item
UFO writer Harold Wilkins revisits the UFO phenomenon in another early book on the topic. He looks to uncover what he regarded as a conspiracy in hushing up the existence of UFOs by official forces in the US and UK. An interesting study in itself and of course now part of a slew of of 1950s books which allows us to look back and see how the phenomenon was covered in its early days.
A really nice copy of a rare book. Pages are essentially bright and tidy with no markings found. There is light foxing on the text edges (see photos ) but the pages themselves are untanned. EPs have a brown vertical strip but pages are blank so nothing obscured. Cloth boards are tight and clean. DJ (fairly rare to be present in this copy) is unclipped. Two or three small missing areas, biggest of which is on the front bottom left and around the spine base (see photos), but generally in nice condition for this book. The book is now covered in a clear removable cover. 255pp with B&W illustrations. Please see all photos
