Clean unfaded green cloth boards with black lettering on spine. No bumping or wear. Binding is tight and square, hinges are sound. Pages and edges are clean, with endpapers intact. Inscribed and signed by author on front free endpaper as follows: "To my friend Mr. Terrell, in recollection of an enjoyable voyage and with all good wishes from the author. 21st Aug 38." 242 pages with index. Clean jacket is unchipped, not price clipped, slight age-toning; enclosed in new archival quality removable mylar cover.
