About This Item
London: Collins. Fine in Fine dust jacket. 1948. Hardcover. Two smaller matching octovo volumes in slipcase, both very tight bindings, white and fresh pages, unworn covers, unread and quite FINE, the both, in edgeworn slipcase. A fresh set. Editor Agar has condensed Adam's 9 volumes (covering 16 years of early American history) into two, perhaps following up on Adam's remark that "I have never yet heard of ten men who had ever read my History." ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall .
