Unabridged reprint of the November 1921 first edition with a new Preface and a new concluding chapter titled "The Friendly Arctic Twenty-One Years After." Association copy signed and inscribed by Stefansson to Harry Belleville Eisberg, and dated February 19 1948. Pocket maps are missing.
