The gilt is pristine. No Remainder mark. Not Ex-Lib. The dustjacket is bright, being touched at the edges and extremititis. A bit of rubbing to the spine of the jacket. One previously taped (inexpertly) tear on front panel, along with another tear. Brodart protected (mininimizing second tear). Price clipped. This is a biography of a breed of Bostonian from the 1860's to 1960, detailing their remarkable literary and social lives.
