He edited the pulp magazine "Adventure" and was one of four journalists who portrayed themselves in the 1951 sci-fi film, "The Day the Earth Stood Still". Signed to front free endpaper: "To Florence Ford Hugh. Elmer Davis. 26 September 1928". Condition: About Good, with fraying to head of spine.. Signed by Author. First Edition. Hard Cover. Good.
