About This Item

Grand Rapids: Wm. B. Eerdmans Publishing. Very Good in Fair dust jacket. 1960. First Edition; First Printing. Hardcover. Ratigan is the expert on Great Lakes shipwrecks, and this volume recounts many of the tragic occurances that have continued to confront mariners on our inland seas. This is the true first edition. There is a previous owner's bookplate on the verso of the front fly leaf which has caused wrinkling to that page, else this is a nice clean, tight and unmarked book with no interior or exterior markings. The dust jacket is quite worn, but complete and now in a protective mylar wrapper, so seems quite presentable. ; B&W Illustrations; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 298 pages .
