Charles Francis Horne was born on January 12, 1870 in Jersey City, New Jersey and died on September 13, 1942 in Annapolis, Maryland. He was an American author. He wrote or edited over a hundred texts, many of those are multi-volume books of the ancient times. He was an educator of English at the City College of New York.
