Folio (322 x 240 mm), publisher's original decorative cream cloth; pp. 146, [6], illustrated with b/w photo plates; library inkstamp to title page, foxing to first few leaves, very good. First edition. A description of the house built by the architect Fritz August Breuhaus (1883-1960) for the editor and publisher Alexander Koch (1860-1939), a leading figure in the decorative arts. Breuhaus went on to become a major interwar architect, his most famous work being the interior of the airship Hindenburg.
