London: Burns Oats and Washbourne Limited, 1921. First Edition. Cloth. Very Good +/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Red cloth with gilt decoration to the spine. Fore and tail edges untrimmed. Illustrated with six black and white plates. Spine faded, some minor dustsoil to the head of the pages. Previous owner's bookplate and ownership inscription to the front pastedown and endpage respectively. Laid into the book is a short note signed by H.E. Card. Manning, dated Dec 2, 1883.
