Tall 8vo, half crushed red morocco over marbled boards, matching marbled end pages, top edge gilt, small bookplate of Frances Evelyn Paton front paste down, pencil signature of David Paton 2nd free front end page. Very Good, front joint starting to open at bottom edge, top corners bumped, moderate toning to frontis illustrated page only, rest of pages clean and free of toning. A quite handsome copy of one of the standard works on the Great Charter, and rather uncommon in the first edition. . First Edition. Half Morocco over Marbled Boar. Very Fine/No Jacket, As Issued. Tall 8vo.
