London: John Van Voorst, 1843. Hardcover. Good. Octavo. Volume 3 only. [5], 276 pages, [3]. Illustrated. Half green leather and marbled paper covered boards. Gilt tile and raised bands on the spine. Marbled end sheets and faded marbled text edges. Paper covered boards are shelf worn. Light rubs to the leather spine and edges. Light scattered foxing to the front and rear end sheets. The spine has "V" for the volume 3 which is in error. There are only three volumes stated for this 1843 edition. Several blank pages bound in the text. Some of these pages have early bird watcher notes written in fine hand. Previous owner inscription written top of the title page. Volume 3 only.
