Author was for 40 years a huntsman and whipper-in to many well-known packs. Introduction by The Right Honorable Viscount Valentia. A discourse on the foxhound in the field, covert and kennel; with hunting yarns, character sketches from life, and some notes on breeding and kennel treatment..
