Tissue attached to frontispiece plate. Foxing. 1st edition 2nd printing. 258 pages with index and ads in back. Binding is secure but a bit shaky. 5 total b/w plates. Author was for 40 years a huntsman and whipper-in to many well-known packs. Introduction by The Right Honorable Viscount Valentia. A discourse on the foxhound in the field, covert and kennel; with hunting yarns, character sketches from life, and some notes on breeding and kennel treatment..
