About This Item
London: Hodder & Stoughton, 1961. First Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. The interior of the book is crisp and clean. There is a small check mark and the ownership label of a former owner on the front free end paper, but no other marks or wear. The green covers are fresh, with minor wear to tips and corners. The gilt spine lettering is still bright. The dust jacket is price-clipped, but is otherwise in very good condition, with minor edgewear, but no rips or damage. Synopsis: "Jendy Marsh was worried about her sister Nancy. Six weeks before her wedding day, Nancy had broken off her engagement to Allen Harvey and gone away to Spain. Nancy and Allen were the two people Jendy loved most in the world, and there was little she could do to help them except wait until she was needed".
