Original deluxe binding of blue levant morocco by Leighton-Straker, stamp signed on rear turn-in, red morocco letteringpiece, spine and sides paneled in gilt, top edges gilt, others uncut. A fine, bright copy with small areas of wear at extremities. FIRST EDITION, PRESENTATION ISSUE, one of 350 specially-bound copies, this for Mortimer N. Buckner, with calligraphic presentation leaf. Buckner (1873-1942) was Chairman of the New York Trust Co.
