SIGNED, dated, and inscribed by the noted author to "Art La Vove, with the admiration and warm regard of Beirne Lay Jr. " La Vove, a Hollywood screenwriter and an aviation writer, authored a book on "hump drivers, " pilots in World War II who transported people and goods across the terrain between Assam, India, and China in World War II.
