Recent fine binding of maroon calf over green pebbled cloth boards, gilt and blind stamped decoration to the spines, original title labels incorporated, binder unknown but stamped with a very small gilt bird device to the bottom rear paste-down of vo. II. Cotents clean and tight, vintage patterned end-papers, original armorial bookplate of Sir W. H. Feilden Bart of Feniscowles reapplied to the front end paper of vol. I; plates very good, several with the plate number partially cropped (but text block not trimmed when rebound, so originally were so). A very good set..
