About This Item
From the front dust jacket flap: This book celebrates the history of the city by focusing on the architecture of the homes, businesses, and neighborhoods. The book invites the citizens to look at their surrounds with awakened interest in their historic value and rich heritage. The book tells us in over 100 photographs what we must work at preserving the historic structures that represent life-styles and times that will never come again.
Book - Fine condition. Gray/green cloth over boards with impressed City of Independence seal on the front and blue gilt letters on the spin. There is the tiniest bit of wear at the top and bottom of the spine. Pages are clean and binding is tight.
Dust Jacket - Very Good condition. There is a little bit of wear at the top, near the spine, but the jacket is in a clear protective cover so it looks very nice.
