About This Item

Oklahoma: University of Oklahoma Press, 1977. First edition. Hardcover. Very Good/good. Oversize hardcover first edition, Signed and inscribed by both authors on the front free-endpaper, "To Dave, our good friend - In appreciation of your interest in our dancing and writing at Jackson Lake Lodge. May the trails of beauty in this book make your heart sing. Reginald Laubin (Tatanka Wanjila) Gladys Laubin (Wiyaka Wastewin) Moose, Wyo. June 17, 1977 (Moon of Service Berries)." A very good copy with rich blue front board and black binding with gilt titles. Very minor wear to the board edges. Interior is clean and tight. Dustjacket is good only with warping and sagging to the panel edges from being in a plastic jacket cover for decades, still no tears, and bright. 538 pp., color and b/w photos, fully indexed. A nicely personalized copy of this volume in the Civilization of the American Indian series.
