J. Munsell, Albany, NY, 1877. First Edition. Hardcover. Fair Condition/No Dust Jacket. Size: 4to. Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Binding is tight, covers and spine fully intact. Previous owner's book-plate laid in on front end paper. Red gilt stamped and decorated cloth over boards, deckle edges, 490 pages, Index, illustrated with engravings in the text. Back board detached but present, front board hanging on by a thread or two, back strip missing about 1 inch at bottom, covers worn and soiled, corners bumped and worn, edges of pages chipped, a few pages have short tears, interior pages lightly toned. Pages are clean, many on opened, and the textblock binding is sound (no missing or loose pages). Quantity Available: 1. Shipped Weight: 3 lbs 10 oz.
