Sound and square binding in paper-covered boards, with cloth backed spine. Some wear to edges and corners. Tiny ding on bottom of upper board. Gift inscription on the half title page. Otherwise, the inside pages are clean and unmarked. Dustjacket has a stain along most of the length of the spine, which is darkened and titles faded. Wear to corners and edges. Light soil overall. Price clipped. Brief humorous stories about famous writers and entertainers. Illustrated in black and white by Edward Gorey. .
