A rare copy of the first edition of the English translation of Salkowski's 'Roman Private Law'. The boards have wear from shelving and handling. They have some scuffing, marks. The spine has wear to the head and foot, along the body. Gilt titling (dulled but bold). The spine and the boards are steady and sound. Within there are previous owner stamps (both inked and pressed). The contents are agreeable. They are clean, clear, certain, orderly, unblemished, neat, more than competent. fk.
