Series Description
Horizons in Philosophy Series, under the general editorship of Jude P. Dougherty and Robert E. Wood, is aimed at both classroom usage and general educated readership. It attempts to provide orientation in the general problem areas of philosophical inquiry through a general historical sketch and a discussion of the contemporary state of the question of each of the major problems.
This series includes studies in six major areas of philosophical endeavor. MAN, GOD, and WORLD (Science and Nature) are the real foci; BEING is the problematic ground whereon they are united; HUMAN CONDUCT follows upon our own location within reality; and PHILOSOPHY is our fundamental mode of reflection upon this situation.
"An Interpretation of Existence" is one of the volumes in the section on Being in the series.
