Reilly & Lee. Very Good+ with no dust jacket. 1925. First Edition; Fourth Printing. Hardcover. ; Full green morocco leather bound cover with 5 raised bands and gilt stamping is sunned on spine with light wear to corners and spine caps but clean and in very good+ condition. Boards and spine are straight. Binding is tight. Aqua marbled page edges are near pristine. Lovely dentilles in excellent condition. Marbled end sheets and paste downs are pristine. Inscribed and signed by author on front end sheet. Pages are clean and pristine. Also laid-in is a personal letter handwritten and signed by the author on author's letterhead regarding the preparation of specially bound edition as a gift as requested by Dr. Frank J. Sladen. Dr. Sladen had treated Miner at the Henry Ford Hospital in January 1942. Provenance of the Frank Joseph Sladen family. According to Henry Ford Health: "After his death, the Henry Ford Hospital library was renamed the Dr. Frank J. Sladen Medical Library. Dr. Sladen was a prolific antiquarian book collector, a library committee member of the Wayne County Medical Society and was responsible for the 1915 founding of the Henry Ford Hospital library. A noted medical historian, Dr. Sladen's own manuscript collection is now preserved in the Henry Ford Health Archives." ; Signed by Author .
