Photo. Very Good with no dust jacket. N.D.. Photo. 8vo 8" - 9" tall; James Jones. Signed and inscribed photograph. 7 x 4 ½. Spotting to verso, image side very good. Jones first book was From here to Eternity, which was made into a movie with Frank Sinatra, Burt Lancaster, and Deborah Kerr. Other works include The Pistol, A Touch of Danger, Viet Journal, and WWII. For Jones, the military was far more than a literary setting: He earned a Purple Heart and Bronze Star. Circa 1973. .
