Hardback, circa 1880, published by John Heywood, Manchester, 192 pages.
Measures 6 5/8" x 4 3/8". Brown leather binding. Raised detail on front board. Binding reasonably firm, though a little strained. Signs of shelf-wear. Some scuffing to boards. Bumped and slightly torn corners. Browning and marking to page edges but reasonably clean. Page surfaces clean, some marking to endpapers and the odd mark throughout, a penciled name to verso of FFEP but otherwise no writing, marginalia, underlining, etc. See pictures for further information.
