About This Item
From the Introduction: "In judging live stock there are two faculties which seem to require special development - observation and judgmet."
There is a color photo-engraving as a frontispiece, plus grayscale and greenscale illustrations and photographs throughout the book.
Good condition. Red cloth over boards with border impressions on the front and gold gilt title. The spine has black text. There is edge and corner wear, some soiling, and the spine has some fading. The closed book page edges show some soiling. The previous owner's name is in greenish ink on back of front cover. The front endpapers have cracked at the spine. There appears to be light soiling or age spotting throughout the book. The text is clean and the binding is intact.
