London: Kelly and Co., 1869. Fifth edition of Kelly's directory of "The Post Office Directory of the Counties of Cambridge, Norfolk and Suffolk" .Rest of the book refers to "Cambridgeshire". Deep-red covers with gilt emblem on front board and gilt lettering on spine, 1122pp inc adverts and fold-out maps. Covers have general wear to extrems, hinges and joints broken, but repaired. Several early pages have small losses and repairs. Cambridge map has been repaired, Norfolk map has western section missing at fold and Suffolk map is missing. Several small sections of text bloc are attached but loose. Top third of spine (inc part of title) is missing, covered by repair. All pages seem to be present. Overall not in great shape, but a fascinating social document of East Anglia. Heavy book will require extra postage. Ref:093610. Fifth Edition. Buckram. Poor/N/a. 17x26.5cm.
