Synopsis
William Deverell’s acclaimed first novel, Needles , which drew on his experiences as a criminal lawyer, won the $50,000 Seal Award. Since then he has published thirteen further novels, including Trial of Passion , for which he won the Hammett Prize for literary excellence in crime writing and Canada’s Arthur Ellis Award for best crime novel.
