Based on Sigrid Undset's 1920 trilogy "Kristin Lavransdatter." The trilogy is the story of Kristin, a Norwegian living during the Middle Ages, the daughter of an affluent father, who, in difficult times, often found solace in her Catholicism. The popularity, as well as its accurate descriptions of Medieval life led to Undset being awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1928.
Set in Norway.
Green titled wrappers. Title page present, with credits for author Sigrid Undset, and screenwriter Laurence W. Beilenson. 139 leaves, with last page of text numbered 137. Mechanical duplication. Pages Near Fine, wrapper Near Fine bound internally with three gold brads.
