Franklin Library, 1989-01-01. Leather Bound. Near Fine/No DJ - as issued. Hardcover, (Leatherette) First Thus 1989 The Franklin Library of Mystery 248 pages. Near Fine, no DJ - as issued. Green leatherette boards with hubbed spines and gilt titles - corners sharp. AEG. One small white spot to top edge of textblock gilt is the only flaw. Book accented in gilt. Patterned endpapers. No previous owner markings - all pages are clean and unmarked. Basis for the excellent 1944 film noir starring Dana Andrews, Gene Tierney and Clifton Webb, directed by Otto Preminger. Since Franklin stopped publishing in 2000, these are getting scarce. A superb vintage copy. LOC SSS-FB-03
