Paris: Editions de l'etoile, 1984. First edition. Wrappers, 107 pp. "Perfect-bound" text block had separated from the covers, then internally re-hinged with clear tape. For this famous piece, Calle worked as a chambermaid in a hotel in Venice for three weeks, in order to photograph the guests' belongings.
