Salt Lake City: Geo. Q. Cannon & Sons, 1893. Octavo. 171 pages, (3) pages of publisher's ads (advertising Whitney's History of Utah which would only be sold by subscription). This work is a brief outline of the leading events in the career of Brigham Young, the founder of Utah. The author's aim was to make this "Life" reliable and accurate, in matters of fact; and the purpose, to interest the new generation of citizens in founder of our Territory, a man whose genius is apparent in every city and village of our prosperous commonwealth. Bound in black pebble grained cloth, title lettered in gilt, spine plain, some spots of rubbing previous owner's name in pencil dated 1904. A very good copy.
