London and New York : Edward Arnold , 1896. Very good condition hardcover book. The book has 2 bookplates inside the front cover. The book is tightly bound and square. The covers are relatively clean and the corners are sharp. The book pages are lightly age toned The page edges are rough cut. The body of the book appears to be notation and defect free. This volume was part of the Sportsman's Library. This is the "new edition" with the author's illustrations and coloured plates by G. H. Jalland. There is a frontis plate of what appears to fox hunt. Very collectible book. 3/4 vellum binding with marbled boards. Leather label on the spine with gold gilt lettering. . Hard Cover. Very Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
