New York: Nelson & Phillips, 1877. First Edition. Octavo. . Frontispiece, 229 pages. Final chapter: "Going to Mormondom to tell of the conqueror," p. [5]-10, 221-228. She writes of her concern to help rescue the Mormon wife under the curse of polygamy. Bound in brown cloth central pictorial gilt stamped within blind stamped border, spine lettered and decorated in gilt, yellow endpapers light chipping to spine ends, and light wear to corners, no names or bookplates. An exceptionally scarce item. [OCLC shows 1880 as the earliest date. The rare first dated 1877 show copies at NYPL, Duke, Iowa, BYU and the Church Historical Department, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Salt Lake City, Utah. see Flake 4989a.].
