First edition,very good hardcover shows light shelf wear, stain at top page edges that has bled down a little into some pages, name and address at front endpaper, browning to some pages at interior where newspaper clippings related to Willie have been laid-in and some other light trace wear, in good + dust jacket (price at flap) that shows rubbing and edgewear that includes closed tears and open chipping with tape mends applied at front and rear. 86 pages nicely illustrated in black & white. Solid copy in jacket of this "..delightful account of a self-made nature boy who tried to live in this complex modern world conforming to to no one's standards except God's.
