Reviews

On Sep 14 2020, a reader said:
I had been searching everywhere for a particular edition of this book (Orange dust cover - published in 1974). I was excited to find it on Biblio. This edition has great sentimental value to me as it was the very first book I read all the way from start to finish in primary school in the mid-seventies. The story had me captivated the entire way. I loved it so much I read it numerous times there-after, also as an adult when I spotted that orange cover in the public library. There has been many publications of this book over the years but they didn't hold the fond memories as the one I loved. When it arrived in the post it was packed very securely. I wasn't expecting perfection as it is 46 years old, but oh my, I was absolutely floored by the exceptional condition it was in considering its age. Very minimal wear on the cover and the pages look like it's possibly never been read. Beautiful, beautiful condition. Thank you Biblio, I will treasure it always.

About World of Books Ltd

In 2002, World of Books Group was founded on an ethos to do good, protect the planet and support charities by enabling more goods to be reused. Since then, we've grown into to a global company pioneering the circular economy. Today, we drive the circular economy through three re-commerce brands:
- Wob: Through Wob, we sell. We provide affordable, preloved books and media to customers all over the world. A book leaves our collection of over seven million titles and begins a new chapter every two seconds, enabling more goods to be reused.
- Ziffit: Through Ziffit, we buy. We give people around the world the opportunity to contribute to the circular economy, earn money and protect the planet, by trading their unwanted books and media.
- Shopiago: Through Shopiago, we help others. By sharing the technology that has grown World of Books Group into the business it is today, we're helping charities increase revenue and reduce waste through re-commerce.
