Boston: L.C. Page & Company, 1903. An exceptional copy of this turn of the century book profiling the great writers of the day including; John D. Barry, Jack London and Booth Tarkington and many more. Highly ornate green boards w/ gilt lettering, designs and borders and dark green designs is in remarkable condition. Boards have only the slightest edgewear and bumping. Top and bottom design on spine is rubbed a little. Text is clean and bright, binding is tight. Original owner's name written in ink (dated 1910) on front endpage. This book looks only a few years old rather than the 100 years that it actually is.. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket.
