[Ref BAL 10570] Revised with a preface, -vii; Frontispiece and 43 illustrations tipped in, and 22 illustrations on text leaves, all by Joseph Pennell.. Originally published under the title En Provence as a serial in The Atlantic Monthly, A Little Tour of France recounts James' six-week tour throughout the provincial towns of Provence between 1883 and 1884 including Tours, Bourge, Nantes, Toulouse and Arles and the surroundings.
