About This Item

Birmingham AL: Crane Hill , 1994. Near fine (a few barely perceptible foxing spots on top page edges) in fine dust jacket. The author Cobbs was the state's principal witness against Birmingham church bomber Robert Chambliss, her uncle. Because of this book and the additional evidence that it presented, the case was reopened and additional convictions obtained. Her story of conflict between her family ties and her concern for a greater good is a moving one. Only at the end of the book do you learn of Petric Smith's true identity. . 1st Edition. Hard Cover.
