About This Item
Toronto: Collins, 1943. Soft cover. Good +. This is a used, but still attractive copy of an unusual story. The interior is clean and complete. The paper has darkened, but there are no marks or damage and the binding remains flexible. The illustrated paper covers are also in Good condition, with light wear overall, and some creasing and visible wear at points and corners. A very respectable copy, but no longer crisp. Synopsis: Set during World War I. "Leona Canwick changed places and clothes with her twin brother so he could get away from camp to visit his fiancée. Unexpected sailing orders were received and away she went with his regiment to France. " the delectable Leona slept with an army, bathed with the General Staff, played the heroine in the hero's pants, demonstrated that it takes a willing spirit as well as weak flesh to make a sinner.
